PASTORAL

Each pupil belongs to a tutor group. The Group Tutor provides the pupil with support, advice and guidance. The Group Tutor interviews each pupil in the group every term, to monitor academic progress, personal and social development and together with the pupil sets targets for future action. The results of these interviews are recorded in the pupil's profile and contribute to the pupil's Record of Achievement. The tutor groups are organised on a year basis. The Head of Year is responsible for overseeing the progress and welfare of all pupils in that year.
