On Friday the 13th February, 11 of our pupils were given an unforgettable opportunity with a private visit to the Palace of Westminster. Pupils took part in an exclusive tour, where they explored both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. They also had the chance to explore the galleries of the historic Westminster building itself and learn how laws are made and bills are passed.

We are delighted to share that selected pupils from Years 9 and 10 recently took part in the Intermediate UKMT Maths Challenge, a national competition designed to promote logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Congratulations to all pupils who were awarded certificates in recognition of their achievements.

On Wednesday 11th February, we held our in-house Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge. 15 of our Year 10 pupils delivered speeches to a panel of judges, each hoping to secure a place in the regional final.

Head Teachers Commendation Awards!
Congratulations to Autumn, Freya, Jack, Lacey, Leon, Milosz, Oscar and Rosie for winning a Head Teachers Commendation Award.

The pupils were nominated by staff members for various amazing reasons.

On Wednesday 11^th February, Year 9 attended the Performance In Education, 'Future Forward' presentation. This was an active and engaging performance showing pupils what options they have Post-16.
