Stop the Hate Trip
On July 8th, 10 of our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors attended the Stop the Hate conference hosted by Basildon Twinning and the Never Forget project. The pupils delivered powerful speeches and poems about bullying to other attendees including Basildon Police, the Ben Kinsella Trust, the Liam Taylor legacy, a brave individual affected by the war in Ukraine, as well as many more inspiring individuals.
The pupils showed great respect for all who attended and spoke.

Code Breaking Workshop
On Thursday 3rd July, members of our Code Breaking Club had an amazing opportunity to take part in the "Number Patterns: The Bunker" workshop delivered by AS Creatives.
This code-breaking adventure challenged pupils to work collaboratively to uncover secret messages and hidden locations in a thrilling, story-driven scenario. They tackled challenges involving rebuses, Caesar shifts, substitution cyphers and other cipher combinations—exploring maths and problem-solving in a fun and memorable way. This hands-on approach made for a fantastic day of learning, teamwork, and collaboration.
