STEM On Track
On Thursday May 7th, our STEM On Track team travelled to Whilton Mill Kart Circuit to test the school's kart that they have been constructing throughout the year.
Pupils explored the STEM Fair where they met staff from Alpine F1, engineering companies and took part in racing simulators, and pit stop challenges.

Brentwood Community Hospital
On Wednesday 13th May, a group of pupils had the opportunity to visit NHS staff at Brentwood Community Hospital for an engaging and hands-on healthcare careers day.
Pupils learnt about different roles within the NHS and took part in practical workshops to develop skills used by healthcare assistants, such as how to take pulse rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation. One highlight was the CPR training sessions that allowed pupils to learn potentially life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques.
