Anti Bullying

Bullying is not tolerated here at Woodlands School.  Whilst it does go on, no school can ever say that it doesn't, we deal with both the bully and the bullied in such a way that it reduces any chance of repetition.  We are one community here at Woodlands and all have the right to come to us and be able to learn without exception.

Woodlands School is proud to be a core member of the Anti-Bullying Alliance (https://anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk/)

Currently, Woodlands school holds the Silver Anti-Bullying Quality Mark (https://www.abqm-uk.com/) and is in the process of working towards the Gold accreditation.

There has been a successful launch of our first cohort of 11 pupils who applied to be Digital Leaders through Childnet’s online program. All pupils involved have received their logins and have begun working through the 8 modules relating to staying safe online. The first module is an introduction to the program whereby pupils’ complete activities to highlight important characteristics for a Digital Leader and which are vital to help them fulfil their role. We meet as a group every fortnight to discuss themes of the online training and how best to pass this information on to their peers across the school. These ties into the work the Anti-bullying Ambassadors are doing on Woodlands’ quest for the ABQM Gold accreditation.
