Events and Newsreel

Thank you to all who attended and offered our pupils insight on possible opportunities after Woodlands.

Team spirits were high as our pupils took part in our annual sports day event held at Basildon Sporting Village this week. Pupils were teamed in their houses and competed in multiple sports including high jump, discus, long jump, javelin, shot put and many running events.
Congratulations to the winning houses for each year group and thank you to all who helped run the day.

On Thursday 4th July, some of our Year 9 pupils visited University of Essex, Southend campus. They completed multiple activities to help further their maths knowledge.

A selection of our Year 10 pupils are taking part in life skill workshops and mock interviews with Griffin Estate Agents, HSBC and Morgan Sindall Property Services.
